微软今天公布了RTM版本的Microsoft FTP Service for IIS 7.0 for Windows Server 2008软件。

这是一个工作于Windows Server 2008下的FTP服务器端，依赖IIS7.0提供服务。

虽然第三方的FTP服务器端软件功能强大，但微软官方FTP软件的安全性和易用性是值得称道的。

而且，相对于以前的版本，改进非常之大。

特别提示一下大家注意，这个是不能运行在Windows2003服务器操作系统和IIS6.0上面。

Overview

Microsoft has created a new FTP service that has been completely rewritten for Windows Server 2008. This new FTP service incorporates many new features that enable web authors to publish content better than before, and offers web administrators more security and deployment options. This new FTP service is only for Windows Server 2008 and Internet Information Services 7.0; it will not work on Windows Server 2003 and Internet Information Services 6.0.
